The unit is equipped with 3.5” 320 x 240 pixels High-resolution TFT colour display and intuitive menu structure. Incoming calls indication is possible through LED. Other than that, LED indications for missed calls, new messages, and calls on hold are provided. You get a list of missed, received, and dialled calls up to 100 entries for each. It features a Clock with automatic daylight-saving time and call duration. Call blocking and blocking of anonymous calls are possible. You can handle up to 12 calls all at the same time. Auto answer mode, Ring tone selection, VIP ring tones, import of individual ring tones additional options available.
This Snom VoIP phone supports URL dialling, Multiple language and DND mode. Fully duplex hands free speakerphone is included. Keyboard lock is also included in this device.
Technical Details
HTTP/HTTPS web server is embedded in this unit and remote configuration is made possible. Dial from web interface or Snom Flexor CTI is featured. Password protection and tracing, logging, silo Diagnostics are also included. The QOS includes HTTPS (server/client), Transport Layer Security (TLS) and SRTP (RFC 3711), SIPS, RT CP, VLAN (802.1pq).
The included codecs are Stereo wideband audio, G.711 a-law, ì-law, G.722, G.723.1, G.726, G.729AB, GSM and iLBC. Comfort noise generation (CNG) and Voice activity detection (VAD) is also featured in this device. The supported SIP includes UDP, TCP, and TLS. Digest/basic authentication, loose routing and strict routing is possible.
Easy installation is possible and the unit supports Automatic software updates, Automatic settings retrieval via HTTP/HTTPS/TFTP and Configuration via web interface.
Wi-Fi connection via USB can be enabled in this device. Unattended and attended transfer, 5-way conferencing, Call forwarding, Call park, call pickup, Call completion on busy, Call waiting/switching between calls, Redialling are made possible in this device. RTP multicast paging and Client Matter Code (CMC) is featured as well. Multiple audio device is supported in this unit. Snom 820 VoIP Phone is advanced and it functions distinctively ahead of others.
