The new Polycom Soundpoint IP 330 SIP VoIP Phone comes with many advanced features like 3-way conferencing, intercom facility and voice mail capability. The included speakerphone helps to talk to a person without taking the handset. Caller ID function gives you the details of the incoming and outgoing calls. Call waiting option alerts you when another calls while you are attending a call.
The VoIP Protocol supported by the device is SIP and the Voice Codecs are G.729a, G.729ab, G.711u and G.711a. The network protocols supported are TFTP and HTTP and it supports 2 x Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX. Network Address Translation (NAT) is the network feature supported by the unit. Integrated Ethernet switch and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support are the other main features supported by the device.
This Polycom VoIP phone also supports other functions such as call transfer and call hold functions. This device is equipped with volume control and ringer control. Indicator included is Voice message waiting indicator. Call timer function gives you the time of your calls. Voice features includes Comfort noise generation (CNG), voice activity detection (VAD) and echo cancellation (ECN).
Connections of the unit include 1 x headset jack / sub-mini-phone 2.5mm. This phone is a wall mountable one.
