The PBXact 850 VoIP Phone offers far more advanced features than the traditional phones and also provides improved communication features, whereby you could enjoy making international calls at reduced rates. This advanced phone comes with a full duplex digital speaker phone and you can use it hands free. It offers Modular RJ9 headset support as well. It has an integrated dual 10/100 Ethernet switch which allows you to connect your PC via the phone, whereby you can reduce the cost incurred for running new wiring for the phone.
For clear visibility of the features, it comes with a built in graphical LCD display of 144 x 128 pixels. It also offers a soft white backlight for viewing comfort during any lighting condition. The provided display also shows the present time and date. The configurable settings offered are Always On, Always Off and auto-adjust to save power. The phone is capable of managing four different calls simultaneously. Visual LED indicators are provided for message waiting and incoming calls. To provide you with incoming call details such as name and number, this phone offers caller ID function.
This VoIP phone comes with a plethora of call management functions and facilities including call hold, microphone mute, call transfer, redial, call forward and three way conferencing, all which can be accessed by a single touch on the respective buttons. It also offers missed call notification, intercom and speed dialling facilities. Other enhanced options available include Speakerphone/Headset/Handset function which enables you to switch between the three functions without having to put the existing caller on hold and Do Not Disturb feature that lets you transfer your incoming calls into the voicemail box, so that the phone does not ring while you are busy with some other engagements.
The PBXact 850 Digital VoIP Phone comes with 8 pre-programmed buttons and even a unique magic button, each meant to satisfy a specific function. The phone comes with a built in 200 contact memory directory, menu options and 30 soft programmable buttons which can be easily programmed for various functions. They include park caller facility for transferring the caller to the parking group, visual parked call function allowing you to view all the calls parked to attend the most preferred call and visual voicemail facility as well.
Other functions for which the buttons can be programmed are day/night visual indication to view the current mode of your phone as well as to change it as per your choice for different incoming calls, transfer to voicemail facility which allows transferring the callers to a different person’s voicemail box, away statuses function and group function for rapid access of the complete groups which vary, whereby you can ring different groups simultaneously with a single touch of a button. It also supports BLF/DSS function, whereby you can attend the calls of other users in your organisation when they are already busy on another call.
