The device is available in graphite colour which goes well with any interior. This VoIP phone is compatible with platforms such as Business Communications Manager (BCM) and Nortel Communication Server 1000. Keypad is the dialler type and base is the dialler location. Integrated Ethernet switch and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support are the features supported. SIP is the VoIP protocol supported and G.729a, G.729ab, G.711u and G.711a are the voice codecs.
TFTP is the network protocol and 2 x Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T are the available Network Ports. Quality of service featured is IEEE 802.1Q (VLAN), IEEE 802.1p. The security is taken care by 128 bit AES.
Line supported in this Nortel VoIP phone is 4 lines which offer flexibility in use. It is equipped with illuminated monochrome LCD display of 240 x 80 pixels. Flawless connectivity is made possible with a USB port and a headset jack. You can either place the unit on the table or mount it on the wall. The device is compatible with hearing aid.
You can access various functions which allow ease in use. They include Conference Call, Speakerphone, Call Hold, New message indicator, visual ringer light, Message Waiting Capability, Volume Control and Ringer Control. Directory buttons, goodbye button, headset button, mute button and hold button are the functions buttons which manages the operations well. Caller ID feature gives information regarding the caller.
