Features of this VoIP phone
Linksys SPA942 VoIP Phone is embedded with keypad dialler type. Base is its supported dialler location. Another impressive feature is that this phone is capable of allowing conference call feature. There is also a speakerphone equipped in this product. A caller ID facility is as well there in this device.
Automatic redial is yet another significant function. Voice mail capability is also showcased. Some other important features include call waiting, call forwarding, call transfer, call hold, volume control, ringer control, call timer, on-hook dialling, music on hold and built-in web server.
The fitted function buttons are speakerphone button, headset button, flash button and auto redial button. There is also a voice message waiting indicator installed in this phone.
Other technical features of this Linksys VoIP phone include power over Ethernet (PoE) support, 2 x Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX, Voice activity detection (VAD) and Network Address Translation (NAT). The VoIP protocol supported by the device is SIP v2 and the Voice Codecs are G.711, G.723.1 and G.729a. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support is the main feature of this VoIP phone. Network Protocols supported by the device are TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, DNS and SNMP.
The phone directory of this phone is capable of memorising 100 names & numbers. The call log capacity comes to 60 numbers.
This phone is also adorned with a LCD monochrome display with a resolution of 128 x 64 pixels. The supplied connections are 1 x headset jack / sub-mini-phone 2.5mm.
