The Linksys SPA-901 VoIP Phone is a widely accepted model for its wide range of facilities and versatile IP communication. It is easy to use and can be wall mounted. The hardware comprises waiting indicator light, redial button, standard 12-button dialling pad, high quality handset and cradle, dedicated flash button, volume control buttons, 5v dc universal (100-240v) switching power adapter and Ethernet LAN – 10base-t rj-45.
This Linksys VoIP phone supports one service provider line. It can access two call appearances by Flash Key or Hook Flash. The supported call functions include call waiting, callerID blocking, call transfer, call forwarding three way conferencing with local mixing and call back on busy. The unit has volume control on ringer and handset. It can track up to 60 entries each for made, answered and missed calls.
For advance data networking it is supports a number of protocols and they are MAC Address (IEEE 802.3), IPv4, ARP, DNS, DHCP Client, ICMP, TCP, UDP, RTP, RTCP, DiffServ (RFC 2475), VLAN Tagging 802.1p/q and SNTP. Further it performs voice gateway data transfer with Session Initiation Protocol Version 2. It is featured with SIP Proxy Redundancy, Re-registration with Primary SIP Proxy Server and SIP Support in Network Address Translation Networks. It allows secure calling through Pre-Standard Implementation of Secure RTP. Flawless voice transfer is carried out via powerful voice algorithms.
For advanced security this VoIP phone is provided with password functions. It offers password protected access to administrator and user level features. Further it performs encrypted authentication via MD5. Above all it supports up to 256-bit AES Encryption.
This VoIP phone is integrated with Web Server for Web Based Administration and Configuration. A voice response system is also integrated in it for reporting and modifying configuration parameters. It carries out automated provisioning and upgrade via HTTPS, HTTP and TFTP.
Linksys SPA-901 Three Way conferencing VoIP Phone has connections of 1 x 10baseT RJ-45 Ethernet Port (IEEE 802.3) and RJ-7 Connector. The unit works in 100-240v supply and consumes 5 Watts in normal operation.
