performance and excellent sound outputs make Cisco Unified 7962G VoIP Phone a superior product. This unit claims to offer unbiased performance with cost efficient benefits. It is available in Silver and dark grey enclosure, giving it a distinct visual appeal. Built with ABS plastic, the unit becomes very durable.
Keypad is dialler type which is positioned at the base. Conference Call is supported and this Cisco VoIP phone facilitates group chat. Speakerphone is featured in this device, whereby you could talk hands free. Caller ID gives the information about the incoming calls. Other enhanced features include Voice Mail, Call Forwarding, Call Transfer and Call Hold. Menu Operation is possible and the unit comes with Speakerphone button, directory button, navigator key, headset button and mute button. Volume control and ringer control are provided.
Firmware Upgradeable is integrated in this device. Web browser is another enhanced feature included in this device. On-hook dialling is one amongst the unique features available. Multiple VoIP protocol support, integrated Ethernet switch, Power over Ethernet (PoE) support are the other main features. The supported VoIP Protocols are SCCP and SIP and the Voice Codec’s include G.722, G.729a, G.729ab, G.711u, G.711a and iLBC. Quality of Service supported are IEEE 802.1Q (VLAN) and IEEE 802.1p.
DHCP and static are the IP address assignments. Security available is 128 bit AES. TFTP is the network protocol and it supports 2 x Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX network ports. Echo cancellation (ECN) is the VoIP feature available and Class 3 PoE is the network feature.
Cisco Unified 7962G Wall Mountable VoIP Phone is equipped with a 5″monochrome LCD display of 320 x 222 pixels. The unit displays the date and time. Connection available is 1 x headset jack. Besides this, the unit is compatible with Hearing Aid. This unit can be mounted on the wall for easy accessibility. The base unit comes with dimensions of Width 26.7 cm, Depth 15.2 cm and Height 20.3 cm and weighs 1.6 kg.
