Their products are reliable as well as durable. One among their latest innovations is the Cisco Systems Unified 7945G VoIP Phone. Though it looks similar to an ordinary phone, it has outstanding features and capabilities.
The Cisco VoIP phone has silver and dark grey colour combination that makes it pretty in appearance. The body material of the phone is ABS plastic. The phone features a dialler keypad and the dialler location is at the base. It is provided with call conference capability.
The VoIP phone has an in-built speakerphone, caller ID, menu operation, call transfer, call hold and call forwarding functions. These functions are in built and the buttons provided are speakerphone button, directory button, navigator key, headset button and mute button. The volume and the ringer can be controlled manually on the phone.
The Cisco Systems Unified 7945G Silver/Dark Grey VoIP Phone has a built-in Firmware upgradeable and has a web browser too. It also features on-hook dialling. The main features of the VoIP phone are the multiple VoIP protocol support, integrated Ethernet switch and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. The VoIP protocols are SCCP and SIP and the voice codecs supported are G.722, G.729a and G.729ab, G.711u, G.711a and iLBC. The network protocol supported is TFTP.
The quality of service are IEEE 802.1Q (VLAN) and IEEE 802.1p. The IP address assignments are DHCP and static. The phone is provided with a 128 bit AES security. The unit comes with 2 x Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T network ports. The phone offers improved sound quality as it is featured with the Echo cancellation (ECN).
