VoIP equipment which utilises VoIP technology for the conversion of analogue voice streams to digital voice packets is known as VoIP gateways. Traditional telephones and PBX systems with Ethernet based networks and TDM networks (PSTN) are the Voice over IP gateways interfaces. Analogue Voice over Internet Protocol Gateways
